Transatlantic Exchanges between New England and Britain 1600-1900
The University of Plymouth, UK, is organizing a three-day conference titled Separateness and Kinship : Transatlantic Exchanges between New England and Britain 1600-1900, from 14 to 17 July 2010.
The conference will explore issues arising from the relationship between Britain and New England in the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, in the light of recent developments in the reading of transatlantic connections. Read more here.
